Anybody Here Play Tennis?
Suppose you play tennis.
You're looking for somebody to hit with.
You don't walk around trying to convince everyone to take up tennis.
You don't tell golfers they're playing the wrong sport.
You don't argue with people who prefer pickleball.
You simply say:
"I play tennis. Anybody here play?"
That's it.
Some people will say no.
Some won't care.
Some already have plans.
And every now and then somebody says:
"Actually, I do."
Maybe that's why trying to convince everyone rarely works.
You're not looking for everyone.
You're looking for the people who already enjoy the game.
