Like most people, I was taught to get a good education and a good job. So I went to college to get a degree.
But I never liked having a boss. Or pretending I cared about meetings that drained the life out of me.
When our son was born, my wife and I decided to homeschool him. We didn't want him settling for a life of quiet desperation or thinking that punching a clock was the only way to live.
That's when everything shifted. I started learning how people like me - a little rebellious, allergic to 9-5 - could build an income without having to become a coach or influencer.
It's not always easy, but it's real. And it's ours.
Now I help other mom and dad misfits start something of their own, so they never have to say, "My kids are growing up without me."
